◆ 6th ASIAGA Open Tour by Leuto ◆
〔Competition Conditions〕
▶ Purpose of the tournament: ASIAGA aims to promote the status of the association and actively support the improvement of members' skills, especially with the purpose of discovering and nurturing outstanding golfers.
▶ Date and time: Tuesday, May 30th, 2023
▶ Venue: Golf Zone County AnseongH
▶ Hosts: Leuto Co., Ltd., ASIAGA
▶ Organizer: ASIAGA
▶ Total prize money: KRW 15,000,000 (Korean Won Fifteen Million)
■ The prize money will be distributed as a percentage based on the total number of participants.
(Income tax: 3.3%, 10% of the remaining prize money will be deducted for ASIAGA development fund.)
▶ Number of participants: 136 people (34 teams) including foreign players.
Please register early as the registration may close early due to the order of registration.
▶ Eligibility: Only players who meet the following requirements can participate in the tournament.
⓵ ASIAGA regular members (Master Pro), teaching members (Teaching Pro), PGAM (Malaysian PGA), PGAA (Australian PGA), and players recommended and approved by ASIAGA.
※ Only members who have paid their membership fees (shared expenses) can participate.
⓶ Players recommended by ASIAGA title sponsor (Leuto) and the Tour Committee
⓷ Members of other associations (including members of corporations or similar organizations) must confirm and register for the special membership pre-registration process of this association before applying. In some cases, they may participate in the tournament first and then become special members afterwards (with the condition of deducting the special membership entrance fee from the prize money).
⓸ Amateur participants (aged 18 and above with a handicap of 9 or lower) will pay the entrance fee and other expenses according to the new member entrance requirements of this association after acquiring prize money.
⑤ Teaching pro candidates must meet the first test requirements within the teaching pro selection regulations when acquiring prize money. They can acquire prize money only after paying the additional expenses such as entrance fee, education fee, and banquet fee according to the entrance requirements.
※ Benefit: Amateur players who meet the performance record within the ASIAGA teaching pro selection regulations will be exempted from the first practical test (P.A.T).
※ ASIAGA is not obliged to disclose the reason for rejecting a participant.
▶ Participation fee: KRW 150,000 (including dinner - separate charges for green fee, caddy fee, cart fee, and clubhouse fee)

▶ Application deadline
⓵ First deadline: May 5, 2023 (Fri) by 5:30 PM KST (on a first-come-first-served basis) - for ASIAGA regular and teaching members only
⓶ Second deadline: May 19, 2023 (Fri) by 5:30 PM KST - for sponsors (Leuto), organizing committee, other association professionals, and amateurs (early closure may be possible on a first-come-first-served basis)
▶ How to apply:
⓵ Apply through the ASIAGA website (www.asiaga.com) or by phone (02-535-2001).
⓶ After paying the participation fee, participants must immediately call the association to confirm payment.
※ Participants who do not confirm payment by 14 days before the tournament after paying the participation fee will be excluded from the tournament.
⓷ Application priority is based on the order of payment confirmation.
⓸ Notice of cancellation and request for a refund of participation fee are only possible before the deadline for registration, and the refund will be made within 7 days after the end of the competition.
⓹ Cancellation, refund, and postponement to the next competition after the deadline for registration is not possible.
⑥ Players who cancel or do not attend on the day of the competition must pay the green fee and cart fee (based on the day of the competition) to the association's account within 3 days after the end of the competition. Players who do not pay will be excluded or restricted from all events hosted and organized by the association.
▶Format of Play: 18-hole stroke play.
■ The player with the lowest score after the completion of 18 holes will be the winner, and in case of a tie for the lowest score, a hole-by-hole playoff will be used to determine the winner. However, in the event of a natural disaster or unavoidable circumstances that result in the interruption of the competition schedule, the final decision will be made by the Competition Committee.
▶Tees used: The total length of the course, teeing areas, and golf course distances to be used will be announced separately on the website at a later date. Please refer to the website (www.asiaga.com).
▶Rules of Play: The golf rules established by the R&A and USGA and the Tour Local Rules established by the ASIAGA Tour Committee will be applied to this competition. [Refer to the ASIAGA Tour Local Rules website]
▶Completion of Play: The competition is considered complete when the winner is presented with the championship cup.
▶Conditions and Schedule: The above conditions and schedule are subject to change depending on ASIAGA's circumstances.
▶Foreign player participation: ASIAGA Member PGA players from various Asian regions, such as PGAM (Malaysian PGA) and PGAA (Australian PGA), will participate in the competition along with local players, as in the previous year.
▶Starting Time (Tee Time): The starting time has been adjusted and changed to two rounds for the convenience and skill improvement of the participating players. (The starting time table for each course and group of players will be announced on the website.)
▶ Prize Money Eligibility: Prize money eligibility and application is limited to ASIAGA regular and teaching members only. However, for players who are members of other associations or similar organizations, they must meet the ASIAGA teaching professional selection criteria to be eligible. The criteria are as follows:
⓵ Players from other associations or similar organizations are subject to the selection criteria for the number of strokes (participant P.A.T age selection criteria) applicable only to them.
⓶ Players subject to the above ⓵ criteria may pay the membership fee and additional costs required for ASIAGA teaching membership (teaching pro) on their own initiative, and receive prize money.
⓷ If the above ⓵ criteria apply but the ⓶ criteria cannot be met, the player's prize money can be accumulated and extended until the additional costs are met.
⓸ The extension period is two years, and it is from the date of the corresponding tournament.
※ If the deadline expires and the eligible person does not provide evidence, the prize money will automatically expire, and it may be donated as a scholarship to junior players or assigned to the association's development fund.
